Thomas is a performance artist based in Philadelphia, USA.

He has been making new performances in Philadelphia since 2007. Thomas has been awarded artist residencies at Kultuuritehas Polymer in Tallinn, Estonia and at Elsewhere in Greensboro, North Carolina. His solos include Magnitude and Thomas is Titanic, which was granted the Jilline Ringle Couple of Bucks Fund. The Washington Post named Thomas is Titanic an Editor’s Pick. His recent A User's Manual has toured to six different cities across the US.

He is a company member of the experimental theatre company Applied Mechanics, which creates immersive, parallel narrative performance. He has acted and co- written each production, including the Pussy Riot-inspired We Are Bandits.

He is the founder of SoLow Festival, an annual 11-day performance festival of solos.
He is a new member playwright of The Foundry @ PlayPenn.
He starred in the Barrymore-nominated ensemble of Orbiter 3's Peaceable Kingdom.

He has trained with Jonathan Burrows, Alice Chauchat, Company of Wolves (in Scotland), and Tim Miller. Additionally, he has taught at Headlong Performance Institute and ad hoc classes/workshops at University of the Arts, Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Microsoft Headquarters, Turner Broadcasting, among others.
