My current plays, in progress, are asking questions about queerness, legacy, and extinction.

The Last Seven Shakers
4 Women or Genderqueer
In 1987 only seven Shaker women remained in America. A once powerful sect of Christianity which believed in dualism, celibacy, and equality between sexes, this play flows between time and space questioning what it means to be the last humans to define a particular culture?

The Dysphoria Album
2 Men, 2 Women, 1 Genderqueer
Using both textual narrative and choreographed movement a collage of contemporary, queer relationships analyze queer culture shifts and identity appropriation. What does it mean for queerness to be capitalized on? The play centers on contemporary club DJ, Baal manipulating the sound environments for his friends and fans. Moving between urban and natural spaces this scene transforms as individuals discover the labor they carry in mainstream, patriarchic society.

The Silkworms
2 Women, 2 Genderqueer
Based on the story of Masha Enzenberger, a Russian translator and poet. Being raised in a tumultuous moment in Russian history (the early to mid 20th century) she tries to balance her affluence, political expectations, and the aim to visualize a generation of lost women writers and poets.

F & Z
2 Women, 1 Man
A short play, a living room drama, inspired by the famous Salinger novel Franny and Zooey.
