Home is the Body is a duet where Thomas Choinacky dances tenderly with their own mummified form. The gentle action between these two bodies creates a doubling where movement drifts through gestures of intimacy and care. Home is the Body centers pleasure, warmth, and the power of touch as a celebration of BDSM, bondage practices.

“Breathe into all parts of the body to find home” is the movement score for this dance. Heartfelt gestures of holding, lifting, and pushing make visible their kinky identity of both naked human and mummified object. This piece is an honoring and caring for the multiple parts of our self/ selves.
